Students from Esade and the University of Bologna are joining forces in the first pilot edition of the Tech2X Pilot Incubation Programme, an initiative led by the University of Bologna and Almacube as part of entrepreneurship support activities of Tech2X.
Running from now until December, the programme supports university teams made up of students, technology researchers and KTOs in transforming students projects with early-stage technologies into validated, market-ready concepts through mentoring, structured guidance, and hands-on entrepreneurial tools.
This year’s cohort brings together four multidisciplinary teams:
- Three teams from the University of Bologna, originating from the Tech Forward 2025 programme, and
- One team from Esade, selected from the TeSI 2025 course.
Together, these teams will collaborate within a shared European innovation framework, benefiting from cross-institutional mentorship and exposure to diverse approaches to entrepreneurship and technology development.
The teams will be guided by experienced coaches from eWorks / Esade Entrepreneurship Institute and Almacube / University of Bologna, who will support them through market validation, user discovery, and early prototyping.
A Cross-European Pathway for Deep-Tech Innovation
By bringing together teams from Esade and the University of Bologna, Tech2X creates a unique environment where students work alongside researchers, innovation experts, and mentors from across Europe. For the participating teams, this programme is a continuation of the work started during their course—with the added benefit of entering a joint European acceleration pathway.
The collaboration between Esade, Almacube, and the University of Bologna highlights Tech2X’s mission: bridging education, research, and entrepreneurship to accelerate technologies with potential societal impact.
