Representatives of the TECH2X consortium will attend the annual International Design Factory Week being held at Pace University in New York from 6th – 10th October. Partners will lead an interactive demonstration session titled, “From Deep-Tech to Spin-Off: Co-Designing an Entrepreneurial Training Pathway“, which aims to showcase work on TECH2X and work with academics and researchers from other design factories on how to spot your university’s research group ideas and build a course to bring them to market, using the TECH2X design principles.
The workshop and follow-up training will cover 3 main themes :
- Design-factories as connected to entrepreneurs
- Design-factories as funded by the university
- Design-factories engagement with local research teams and to empower universities
